Alright, anyone know anything about Dell Inspiron 8500s?

Because the screen on my keeps intermittently shutting off (just the screen, not anything else) but ONLY when it's plugged in. Considering it's four years old and battery warranty SUCKS ASS my battery doesn't really last that long. Anyone had a similar problem? I'm cheating and stealing my sister's battery and switching them out so I can do stuff, but ya.

And here I'd decided to just have a relaxing evening after a long week. FAIL.

Temp Hack: So we had some old monitor (read: GINORMOUS) that I am using for a screen now. I feel so 1982.

I have a Dell Inspiron myself that I have to take into Best Buy soon because it refuses to recognize the battery so I always have to have it plugged in, and the headphone plug broke after 1 year of use (wasn't rough with it, just used it alot). From what I've heard from other people, it just doesn't seem to be the most reliable computer ~_~

(Btw, since you don't have AIM I figure'd I'd tell you my website is back up now so you can edit the ff_fanlisting info whenever ♥ :D)
