Eeee, Friday.
Updated:
+ Today's Costume: Phantom of the Opera. Yes, The Phantom. I was going to do something else, but I stumbled upon a mask and remembered that I'd gotten some velvet cloth, so I found a pin to make the cloth a cape, cut off half the mask, put on my fake top hat and a nice black suit and bow tie and VOILA. I love having random bits of costume materials at my disposal. <3 The mask is currently on my hat, though, as I need to be able to see and work today and I have glasses. It looks nice up there, though. I KNEW it was a good investment getting that tuxedo shirt, too.
+ I am slightly paranoid because someone honked at me as I was crossing the street from the parking lot to get to my workplace. But then, maybe it was the costume? I don't know, it always startles me. Don't honk at me if you see me, it freaks me out. XD
+ My mom wants to make my Terra shoulderpad armor things. Which is good, because I don't have the first clue how to start on them. I'm glad one of my parents is an artist.
+ Since I really can't do much else with the modules until, I don't know, people start coming into work (everyone's sick, it seems, which is troublesome), I think today might be spent entirely on typing up my design methods so that they don't panic when I go back to school (which makes me head reel a little at how much I've done since the summer... god I love my job).
+ I haven't written much in two days, so if I start having mind wandering today, I might want to hop on that. Considering my works in progress, and all.
+ Found a program to help me re-tag my music, which was getting out of hand. Considering that I will be moving all my shit to a new computer soon enough, this is good.
+ Oh, and we ORDERED MY NEW COMPUTER. I AM GOING TO HAVE A DOCKING STATION AND A WIRELESS KEYBOARD AND IT IS PRETTY!
ETA: Found not only the right kind of blonde wig, but I FOUND BLACK OPERA GLOVES. Meaning, I can finally do my Audrey Hepburn outfit. Let's hope it's not ridiculously cold in the next three days.
To Do:
+ Write something. I have two that are time sensitive! Write those. Hopefully. Especially theimaginarybeasts submission. I love the theme. Oh, do I love the theme. It's daunting, because the writing there is really rather good. *crosses fingers*
+ Possibly make icons, because I have The Urge. I love knowing some layer modes and coloring tricks now!
+ Mail out letter? Find out letter postage rates, as I fear my stamp might be out of date.
+ Start a list of the programs that MUST be installed on the new computer, make sure that you can get the install files for a lot of them. It'll be a week or so until it gets here, but always prepared!
+ Tag some music in down time, which always happens despite my efforts to always have something to do.
+ Make Mom soup when I get home, as she feels sick. Which is sad because she was supposed to go to the costume shop with me. :<
+ Finish application/profile forsouthofbakerst. Hypochondriac Ukrainian born tinkerer ftw.
+ Email bosses, make sure they didn't die.
