Ack, it's April already!

So I took yesterday evening off, because I was unnecessarily stressing myself out. It's getting near the end of the semester and I tend to panic a little. Still a little panicky, but not as bad as I was before, what with running around, checking out my living space for next year and all that. But that's set, done, and I can concentrate on matters at hand.

Besides, it was fun being in a sports bar with a laptop and headphones. XD

Alright, riddle me this, but why do all the challenges/writing-a-thons/fun stuff ALL HAPPEN AROUND NOW? Is no one else on semester schedules? I'm genuinely curious. Because you'd think it would be less stuff happening the nearer to finals it gets...

Maybe that's just me. Speaking of things happening:

- Sorceress Fanwork-a-thon because people want me to fail school
- Steampunk theme for this next issue of imaginarybeasts. Again, they want me to fail school, obviously.

I clearly need to get out of my room now to study for my next pilot exam.

Maybe Carbon Made will fit a prompt for this one then you won’t have two to work on at the same time, unless that’s what you want. Weird, I hadn’t realized Ellone had been a sorceress, I thought she was something else entirely.

I suppose people use writing challenges for breaks between studying and classes, maybe.

I know your busy and this isn’t important so you don’t actually have to answer. If the sorceress thing isn’t an April Fools prank or whatnot do you think they’d mind a prompt without an intent to write for someone else? Not to say anyone will selected it but There’s something I’m terrible curious to read and I lack the involvement required to do a FF8 piece for people involved in the fandom. Anyway, not a big deal or anything just something I’m curious about.

The gist of what you're asking is can you request your own prompt?

Well, I knew someone answered their own prompt for the Rinoa-a-thon, so I guess if you just go request it and then just say, "hey, I know, this is my prompt but I really wanted to write it" should be alright.

I mean, that's what I would do if I was looking for an excuse to write something.

And no, it's not a joke. XD irish_ais was pestering me about it back in March, because she's part of the conspiracy to get me to write for FF8.

I babbled around it but I was wondering if you could request without actually having to write for someone else. Like I’m curious about something but it parallels what I’d like to do with my FF7 stuff to actually do it myself, kind of. I'm probably being really weird.

Oh, no, it's there, I just had to take it off my WIP list because I use that mainly to show the actively working on things--my actual WIP folder is huge. XD Basically just means it's on the back burner because of other things in the way.

I'll prolly get to it during the summer when I hopefully have more time.
