So I locked myself out of my house today and thus had to break in. Thankfully one window was not locked, and after cutting through the screen (I tried to pop it out first, apparently Anderson windows only pop IN) and getting a lawn chair I managed to shimmy myself in. This was not a large window, but thankfully I am compact. There was about five minutes where my legs were kind of hanging out the window as I tried to leverage myself through and I almost pulled a muscle in my hip that I didn't know existed before. XD So apparently people in my family just don't know how to quit. It all felt very like a Turk mission gone wrong and I'm tempted to write something very silly related to this.

Also, I need a beer. I'm getting too old for this. And I'm going to surgically implant the housekey on my person, by god.

Dude, I was all worried the nosy neighbors would call the cops on me. Because jimmying the screen out didn't work, I had to basically rip the screening out. Which sucked, as I'm not all cut up and the cut on my thumb hurts when I hit the spacebar. I may have to train myself to use the other thumb. But it took a while basically, especially the part when I was half in and half out of the window. XD
