Hey, at both of the places I've been involved in hiring at (DuPont and Bridgestone), GPA isn't as much of a concern. For those right out of school, there's basically a "cutoff" level, above which every GPA is assumed "the same". Anyone below the level can argue themselves in with applicable experience. And for people who are either out of school or who have been non-traditional students (with your work experience, I'm putting you in this category! XD) experience trumps GPA almost. every. time.

granted, these were both research departments, which IMO means everyone involved in hiring is going to be a little bit crazy anyway. But we like crazy.
