She doesn't like the unpredicatibility of most technology. Like, she only uses her Palm Pilot for certain things, and won't stray from them. Unlike my father and I, she's afraid to click around with things she's unfamiliar with unless she's been walked through it a few times.

Only problem is, my dad's got the tact of a boar and I don't always have the time to sit down and tell her how to get on the internet again. I keep meaning to write her some instructions, but I've got enough to do some days. XD

TVs and game systems aren't intimidating because the interface is set up to do very specific things. It's the multi-use of the computer that gets her.

I'll just keep walking her through looking at a website that she was interested in from seeing on TV again and again, though. Because I'm not helping her that much by just looking up things for her (unless it's something truly trivial), even if it's faster.
