I can't think of any tie cosplays, annoyingly. Although since you mentioned stringy Western things and since I know you've done him before, you really should do Cid.
The only other ties I can think of are Phoenix Wright and MGS1 Revolver Ocelot (http://i33.tinypic.com/2vbmzgx.gif), who's a snappy dresser but presents other, non-tie related problems (like the moustache).
