Costumes, etc

Halloweek is fast approaching and unlike normal people, it's a week-long thing for me, so I have to prepare in advance. I have my costume box with me and anything I'd forgotten (there was a few things) is going to be picked up mid-month, as I have a break. So with that in mind, I figured I'd ask for some opinions. This means a fun poll!

Also, how is it if I only picked Trinity because I think you could really pull it off well?

I wish I felt like I could do this sort of thing, but I have always been a timid person. However, I love the idea of dressing up and always have.

I actually would like to make myself a simple white mage hoodie, sort of like Princess Garnet's and use that as a 'costume' for school, but I don't know if I will actually do it.

Funny story about my Trinity costume; so it was something my mom picked up on the fly my Freshman year of college. Just a cheap version of her coat and the sunglasses. Well, lost the sunglasses, but I can't exactly see out of them anyway (no contacts) so I just wear my normal sunglasses now (which are more Blues Brothers, as that's what I wanted). And I didn't have the hair back then (but I do now! ha). It is, however, a Favorite, and I always try to find excuses to wear the coat. XD

And I cannibalize parts from costumes all the time, sometimes for everyday wear, so. People always give me odd things and I'm not too shy when it comes to wearing them (especially my wigs. I've got a fiber optic light up one, a blue sparkly one, as well as my more normal ones... I also have a beard now. XD). Hell my normal wardrobe is a little costumey some days.

And you should! That'd be SO CUTE. Some of my first costumes (well, my first ones that involved ME making them) were just me fabric painting on sweatsuits (I went as the Night Sky one year... this included this gold spray-paint disc around my face for the "moon" and gold stars painted on a black sweatsuit... it's a shame I have stage fright).

I can understand why. The Matrix coats are clearly the coolest things ever.

Wigs! My best friend who is teaching in Korea went to a wig party, where everyone wore one. It looked like so much fun.

I think I'd take the time to sew the triangles on - although that would probably make it take too long for me to finish it, but it'd be doubly fun because I know I have at least one FF fan in the class.

Well, I always save that one for bad weather or me being especially lazy one day. XD It's my always backup one.

All I basically need is to modify a wig (I may get a better one for it if I'm ever cosplaying it FOR REALZ but yeah), get a cropped jacket, and iron the skirt for it (it's black, pleated, and basically like schoolgirl gone wrong... Yuna may wear shorts, but I don't see Aeris giving up the skirt, even if it gets shorter XD).

The jacket may be the part that gets over looked. I mean, I do have a leather jacket that's pretty sweet. The main thing is this HOT PINK TANK TOP that Drak recently gave me that strikes me as a good translation.

But yeah. If I have time, and even then, it'll be like a first phase idea of it. XD
