Halloween and Then Stuff

So Halloween weekend was great. Got to see ladyfriend, last minute some costume stuff, eat all the things, drink an inadvisable number of jello shots, and then finish the weekend with a trip to urgentcare because my heart rate would not go down. EKG came out slightly abnormal, so I get to see a cardiologist later this month. Joy! 26 is clearly the new 40.

All this has lead me to the conclusion that I am really effing stressed, and am clearly not handling it in healthy ways. Also that I am not 18 anymore and cannot handle two weekends in a row of heavier than usual drinking. Um. Yeah.

Anyway, enough of the bad, let's have some pictures of the zombie cupcakes that novel_machinist, whitemage and I decorated together (all baking and frosting prep props go to whitemage). Also a crappy picture taken at the Halloween party.
















Ladyfriend and I were genderflipped Beauty and the Beast. Her mask was too much with the wig, and you can't see the fur tail-skirt, but it turned out pretty cute for last minute. Also, I have some pale sideburns and chin fuzz, because I am supposed to be male. I suppose I am kind of bishie? lol Our friends posing with us are Rosie the Riveter and Devil with a Blue Dress On.

That one super angry looking cupcake with the orange frosting keeps making me laugh like a loon and I don't even know why. I think that cupcake is just fucking tired of the system.

Y'all look cute. And don't worry too much about the EKG. Walk-in care employed machines have been known to return abnormal results over nada sometimes--and it's not necessarily as big a deal as they make it sound sometimes. They're just being cautious, because, obv, not an organ you want to screw up with.

Also, I ended up making mummy cupcakes and haystack goblins on Monday for MIL. XD This Halloween baking thing is like officially tradition.
