There hasn't been a SUDDENLY RELATIONSHIPS episode again, some of it is in the background but it's like they had that, and were like "now back to the action".
And bonus, Korra and Lin Bei Fong were working TOGETHER. And Asami and Korra were getting along. I've also not seen the latest episode yet, though, so we may yet get hit over the head with poorly written teen romance shenanigans.
It's not that I mind the existence of it (hello, teenagers) it's just the application of it that's bothered me. But I've been distracted enough by other plotlines to not completely give up on it. I really gotta wonder why the relationshippy bits have been so inconsistent, cause they did a good job with that sort of thing in the original series. :/
tl;dr It's not been as blatantly silly, but it may be again, for now I've seen enough things going on that I've liked to not give up on it. And I'm especially looking forward to them developing the Lin-Korra semi-mentorship some more, because I'm very glad they have settled their differences.
