Ha~!

So I realized this homework assignment that is driving me nuts actually was totally done last semester and I have the solutions from it at home. So I'm really not going to worry now! I have a couple minutes before my next class, so I think I'm going to just breathe for a few minutes. So let's have fun times.

Alright, instead of OTPs, it's characters because I think it would be more fun. Fandoms are FF4, FF7, FF8, FFX, Fables, and BSG generally you should be able to figure it out if you know me at all. XD Nongendered for challenge! So yes, go on, guess the characters. Hint: I am predictable.

1. The opposite self-insert; as I get older I find myself acting more like them. Veld from FF7:BC
2. I want to be them when I grow up completely. Bill Adama from BSG
3. They really just want to be the heroic detective and possibly get the princess while they're at it. Bigby Wolf from Fables
4. The tragedy isn't what they are, but that they had simple ambitions and what they are gets in the way of that. Edea from FF8
5. Two words: adaptation decay.
6. From prophet to human in less than three moves. Laura Roslin from BSG
7. Hip years ago, now a little forgetful.
8. Sacrifice averted. Yuna from FFX
9. They've figured out how to stand, if only they'd stop thinking in fairytales.
10. Long and hard is the way that out of darkness leads up to light. Cecil Harvey from FF4
11. Going to be one hell of a politician when they grow up. Rinoa Heartilly from FF8
12. Spunk doesn't mean stupid. Rikku from FFX
13. Cosmonaut thwarted, then released. Cid Highwind from FF7
14. What all the bad boys want, nonreciprocating. Rosa Farrell from FF4
15. The idealization of everything I find attractive. Tifa Lockheart from FF7 (...yeah)

P.S. My new adopted cranky old man blogger points out my issues with the term "Mary Sue"

P.P.S. How to be a failure! Reverse psychology, I see what you did thar.

Well, I suppose even the most charming of womanizing men have their off moment so why not the female equivalent, whatever that maybe called.

Well, there isn't, which is partly why I kind adore Starbuck's character--typically you've got either the charming womanizing man, or the complete jerk manwhore. But for the woman it's either the slut or the tragically Victorian "fallen woman" victim. Making Starbuck into a woman and still retaining the whole reckless and wild thing for the new series was one of my favorite things about the new adaptation.

It's kind of odd, because I'm a pretty singularly monogamist in my real life that maybe I can sort of admire the less-than-monogamist types for being what I can't be. XD

I may actually dislike her because if she were a guy doing that to girls it would bother me because you shouldn’t treat ladies like that. So yeah, I’m weird. I understand admiring something you usual don’t do.
