Grand Prix Weekend

In addition to the celebrating for the simulation grade and not actually failing all my classes (ha ha, I know rite) it's that time of year. When the campus puts on a mini-cart race and I have to give some poor hungover kid who's lost a shoe directions back to his dorm. Good times.

But I have linkages, so that you may all celebrate. Because yeah.

- 12 Gauge Shot Glasses. Hrm. This does not help my slight gun fetish.

- FINALLY I CAN BECOME A DJ MASTER. Ok, maybe not.

- Here's a decent explanation of that tea party and bagging and whatever thing going around. Because for some reason people keep asking me about it. I ah, don't follow news, fyi.

- You may be a Canadian and not even know it! HOLY CRAP.

- Have I introduced you to my other favorite thing on youtube other than threadbanger? Well here. She does makeup tutorials, is adorable, and I adore her accent. And her latest video she's all excited because she got some of her new makeup line to use. This little spot on BBC also illustrates why I like her. Funny, considering I don't wear makeup. I just love seeing people creating, I guess.

- You typography fetishists, have some jewelry. Not my style, entirely, but I like a few of the pieces. I can be hip.

Edit: Also, I need some advice. That is, I need makeup. Not much, and please have it be cheap because I really don't wear it often. But the crap I have is starting to be kind of eh, and I figure I'd better start looking again. So inexpensive makeup recommendations for someone that only wears it on special occasions or with costumes. Go!

Unfortunately, a lot of makeup that is cheap is going to look cheap. You may want to invest in some products that are going to last you a while. It's like clothes.

Covergirl is a good, fairly inexpensive one for foundation and powder, and I really love Rimmel's mascara (especially the brown-black, but I also use CG's LashBlast now, and love love love it).

Hee hee, silly blog... these didn't come out of nowhere! There was a big controversy in my country during the last census because a whole bunch of people who thought they were citizens (people like WWII warbrides) found out they weren't! It was a strange oversight where a whole bunch of people didn't fill out a form between 1950-1977 or something along those lines. People didn't much appreciate that so the government had to change some of our citizenship laws to fix the glitch.

... Though I kinda wish there were closet canadians who were popping up all over the place. I can just imagine standing around in there homes until citizenship & immigration comes knocking at their door... 'excuse me miss, just thought you'd like to know; you're canadian *hands over cupcake*'.

It puts the much-repeated phrase the world needs more Canada into perspective! Maybe we can take over the world with clever coersion. There could be canadian sleeper cells in your neighbourhood and you WOULD NOT KNOW IT. ... until its too late, mwahahahahaha. XD
