Reformating My Harddrive

Yup, I got something on it that refuses to go away and I do not like having a fear of entering any passwords on it. Yes, I have everything that didn't die in the external harddrive crash (including my progress restoring my music collection) backed up on New Shiny Harddrives and a couple things on a thumb drive. It's amazing how much you can store on those things these days...

But this means I'll be working on that (and operating off my portable apps on yet another thumb drive from my dad's computer) and not really around. Maybe it was time for a reformat anyway.

Real entry to follow, as I have a bit of time to kill.

I tried going Mac, it's just not powerful enough for the sorts of things I have to run. And I don't do much artsy stuff on it, so there is really no sense in me having one. And I really can't stand how white and pod-like everything is. Every upside has a downside. XD

However, this is making me want a netbook to use at work quite a bit now.

I have a Macbook, so it's silver aluminum. But I don't need to do anything more RAM-heavy than play Second Life. XD

Yeah, I need a little more kick than that, unfortunately. XD And well the silver is better at least. Like I said, pluses and minuses. I get MORE POWER but I also get viruses.

(and this office actually had a recent Mac virus scare so they exist...)
