Been a while, eh?
Life has been pretty awesome lately.
I am officially moved in, and minus the fact that the guy I'm subletting from's stuff is here, it's pretty much the way I want it. As predicted, my new location has prompted about three people to come visit and aided in me going out on a school night. I've been eating a lot of good food, too, some of which I even made as I have close proximity to the types of grocery stores that sell large bags of miso paste and a farmer's market which had gooseberries.
I hadn't realized how much of a mental decline I was on until I see the difference that a change of scenery and maybe lifestyle has done. It wasn't like living with my parents was bad but I guess part of me saw it as a failure. Or basements just suck.
Work is also going well, if a bit stressful. I don't suggest moving while you're starting a massive project. I hadn't realized how much my team had done for this project until the CEO bought us all watermelon and had a big HEY LOOKIT WHAT THESE GUYS HAVE DONE thing. Which was nice. Though it's only just begun!
So yeah, things are good.
