More Metal Gear thoughts along the way
Finally had a Friday where I'm not like, being social or being an adult or whatnot. I ordered pizza and decided that my goal for the evening was to play some Metal Gear Solid. As it always happens with this game, I say I'm gonna play for 2 hours and it quickly turns into like, 5.
- OMGWTFBBQ CYBORG NINJA. FUCK YOU AND THE BOSS FIGHT THAT WOULD NOT END.
- Psycho Mantis; now you're more my style. That whole extremely meta controller thing was ACTUALLY KIND OF COOL even if Campbell had to break the fourth wall to tell me. Fly's YOU DON'T LIKE GIRLSSS? ICON NOW MAKES SENSE.
- Ok, Mei Ling AND Meryl are both my girlfriends. Not Snake's, mine. Meryl's tomboyish I MUST PROVE MYSELF thing could have annoyed me, but you know, I went through that phase too (but with science instead of guns and soldiering). I can dig it.
- Speaking of Meryl ;_; DON'T DIE. I WENT THROUGH THUMB TORTURE FOR YOU.
- Otacon's slang is a little dated, but he's still pretty adorbs. THOUGH I THINK WE GET THE POINT THAT NUKES ARE BAD OK KOJIMA?
- Sniper Wolf is hooot. Definitely "bad bond girl" vibe, only lacking a miniskirt (which would be ridic. Yes her jumpsuit is cleavaged, but it really works for her).
- REVOLVER OCELOT IS BACK, SANS HAND. WHY DO SO MANY OF MY FAVORITE OLD MEN LOSE A HAND? I blame Luke Skywalker.
- Liquid, you must be evil, you sound British!
- ON THE BATTLEFIELD.
