i guess you could say, and i hate to admit it, but when i listened to my mom fret regarding selling our family store and my dad losing his job...my brain went on "oh shit" drive.
Well, that's your right. Honestly, a person's supposed to be worried about their own livelihood and the livelihood of their family and such. Hell, I'm a tiny bit worried about a complete Dem majority because my dad works for the Department of Defense, and historically, they start base closures and stuff in that kind of period of time. We all have something we don't like, it's an unfortunate side-effect of partisanship that no one person is completely looked out for. It's alright to be mad at something, hell, it's human. If there aren't people to go, "whoa, wait a second, the hell is that about?!" every once in a while, then people won't notice it.
I can only hope there are not too many casualties to change, as it's inevitable, no matter what. But we're the checks and balances for that sort of thing.
Actually, I wanted to go into politics for a while, I just have a hard time talking to other political types, plus, I'm kind of weird. XD I want compromise, and things like that. I want people's personal lives to not factor into their professional lives. Things like that. Makes for a bad politician. XD Besides I'm a history minor. I'm not ALL science.
I hope you do go into teaching! Oh, education is like my big huge thing I'm always harping about, and I love hearing about people that I know are intelligent going into teaching!
No one's alone. ^^ And I hate that you felt that way.
