Ohayocon Report, Part 1

Thursday: Room party! Pantslessness! drakonlily showing people how to dance and the fact that katmilla and safety_caesars indeed got pretty awesome at it. At some point I drunk dialed my Sidekick, who just reminded me last night that he had gotten a call from me.

Friday: We took over the bar, I dressed as gunner!Aeris and wanted to keep irish_ais's really awesome wig she let me borrow for it. Tiny guns are awesome. renoonreno.com was proposed. A really creepy Zack cosplayer hugged me (I don't like being touched by strangers!) and then quoted something (I think it was from Crisis Core, which I haven't played) and I smiled and nodded a lot. I found a Sephiroth to gun down (because there's always like, five). We drank with Marios, ran into the Reno and Rude from last year (only the Rude was dressed) and got the Rude drunk enough that he would speak with his Irish accent (Oi! Lasses!). We found giant beer tap things that looked like penises (no, I'm not kidding).

Saturday: The bar was taken from us, more walking around, I was dressed as steampunk!Edea for the first half of the day. The dealer's room didn't have the manga I was looking for, I got teeny goth fangirls (they were like 13) and an evangelist with a fiddle tried to hand me a flyer. So without thinking I said, "I'm sorry, I worship Satan" (IN A POLITE TONE, I feel bad otherwise, I just didn't want to be preached at, I WAS AT A CON). I changed into a Sue Goth because my Auron costume would have been too warm (yeah, so many people makes for hot) and I wanted to move around easily (and wear the Aeris wig again, I think I may grow my hair out again). My sister came by and they promptly put her in a corset (why didn't I get the hips in the family??) and we ended up with too many people in the room and the cops came by. But drakonlily got them to go away, and my sister went to the rave while I was an old lady that sat around chilling with people.

Sunday: Well, I wrote about that yesterday. XD

They were actually making the sound effects as they walked.
