She also has a sword, which you can't see in the pics we've taken so far. But the outfit redesign makes the corset more like armor (it's leather-like), and the skirt is more coverage than the, ah, panties before. XD So it makes sense to me.
I can't wait to find a good pic of my gunner!Aeris costume, it actually came together really well.
