crankyoldmanHello! Thank you for being interested enough in at least one of the things I requested to write for it! As you can probably see, my interests are varied and change a lot for Yuletide. I have no doubt your story will rock my socks off, because Yuletide is AWESOME.
Generally I prefer plot over porn for Yuletide, and the ratings I give on everything are just a maximum, not a requirement. Go violent, go sensuous, go very psychological, just please don't go into explicit sex territory. Character-driven stuff is especially pleasing. ^^
Baccano!
I cannot express my love for Claire and Chane enough. They are so wonderfully messed up, and yeah. Honestly, you can go pretty wild with this one, just keep on them and their awesome craziness. I could pretty much be happy with anything that focused on these two!
The Brave One
One of the things I loved about this movie was Mercer and Erica's relationship. They could have gone all cheesy romantic with them, but they didn't. They're complicated people. Go romantic, go platonic, I just think they are not done being in each other's lives. Feel free to even go internal during the movie timeframe on them. Where do you go with a woman who went on a vengeance killing spree and a detective that helped her cover it up? What does that secret mean now?
The Fall
Such a long movie, but so worth it for the visuals, really. I always wondered that if Alexandria were in a position of storytelling, how her experience with Roy would have changed her view on things later. Also what things in HER later life would drive a story. I think it would be very different and interesting, considering what she added to the original story.
The ArchAndroid
So I'm obsessed with this album. Period. This is the first time I've request fanfic based on music basically ever. I love the character Cindi Mayweather that Monae created, and I think it would be interesting to see how a normal android would see a rebel, saviour, concentrated awesome that is Cindi. Bonus points if this android is also female. Also if you reference other science fiction dystopian stuff, because yeah. Love it.
