Note that today is SUNDAY
Dec. 30th, 2007 10:42 amYou know work, I typically love you, but today there is no love. Considering that you had not given me much to go off of as far as details, and hell, most of my team hasn't been showing up to work regularly since about October, there's a reason that the stuff I had to hand over to the Flash programmer was a little thin in some areas, particularly a storyboard for that section. I understand that you all took on more contracts than a small company should and hence I've pretty much had to do everything from scratch.
But today is Sunday, and I'm the only one here, and I am annoyed. And considering that the Flash programmer knows that emailing or calling anyone else will result in "go talk to Liz" anyway, I decided not to ignore the slightly panicked sounding questions and come here.
One good thing though, at least I don't have to deal with my parents, who have decided to go full tilt empty nest crazy.
Why is it I never get a real vacation? Goddammit I just knew something would happen while I was out of contact. I will be out of town starting WEDNESDAY, coworkers!
Then again, this is what happens when you wait until YOUR vacation to actually START on half the work we gave out.
Alright, let's see how many numbers I can crunch before 1 pm. It's 11:30 and I've already gotten through 1.5 of my scenarios number-wise, and the other questions were just random interface things. Ok, I can breathe now. I'm still annoyed at being in on a Sunday, though.
And people wonder why I get cranky in the winter. God.
