I really used to follow FST religiously for the same reason. I would download all the mixes that had new age/jazz/bossa nova/non-traditional stuff just so I could expand my music collection. I should start back up - I got some awesome music out of it.
When I finish the prop I'm working on at the moment and Shadow's helmet, I'll solicit some ideas from you about what you want your sword to look like. (or you can tell me now, but I won't get around to it till the fall probably XD)
