The holiday is a lie!

Art festival was great. Since I've got frames I still need to get for my art from past years, I decided not to get any new wall art (and besides, the charming photographer kid doesn't do small prints anymore! gah, I hate that, I don't have $80 to throw down on a large print, even if I adore your pictures). But I did manage to walk away with some fun stuff. This includes a cute ladybug enamel pin, some peacock feather earrings, a 1930s brooch (well, that wasn't done by an artist, just the vintage place nearby was having a sale...), and this really cheeky cloth zip-up bag that will serve as my new pencil bag. Pictures whenever I can check out a camera from the library. The earrings and the brooch were bought with the intent of using them for my Edea costume, as I have plans to fix certain parts (I'm redoing the feathers on the hat, I'm putting the brooch on the waist cincher, and the earrings will add more color).

I am again glad I know some textile artists personally. Damns did those kids overcharge their stuff. Love artsy clothing but hell if I can afford it from those types. XD

In dorky loser news, I managed to find a website that links me to videos from both Mad Men and Project Runway, two shows I can't watch due to our cable here being too focused on music videos and sports. At least Spike has stuff I like (like CSI, I know it's so incorrect, I don't care. it's fun). PLUS SCI-FI HAS A TNG MARATHON TODAY. YES I GET MY PICARD FIX.

Man, I have a ton of homework today. XD Holiday weekends are a lie. Hopefully I can check out a camera soon, I'm kind of fond of my room and want to take pictures.

My little sister’s art supplies were fairly expensive so I could understand overcharging. I’m glad you have fun!

Renting a camera from the library is such a strange concept.
