Damns, well isn't it just peachy outside

crankyoldmanRaining and cold, so I didn't wear my wig today because I didn't want to risk getting it rained on. Sadness I know. But I may wear it tomorrow while I hang in the lab. Who knows! I wore this instead.
Since I have a camera right now from the library I'm taking pictures of stuff. Will probably end up inwe_r_nerdpunk (P.S. Join and post stuff!) as a part of a giant picspam of Awesome Things.
And I just ordered food from probably the only Asian food place nearby I haven't eaten food from AND IT IS FANTASTIC. Chicken Yakitori and the most awesome mushroom soup evar (SIX KINDS) and milk bubble tea? Y. Very Y. It's not that I'm a weeaboo, I just give every place nearby a try. Except Panda Express. That's just... wrong with all the independently owned food places hanging around (I do like Noodles & Company but that's only because we lack much indie italian nearby and that's typically what I get is their Italian based stuff). Plus after eating lo mein at the Chinese place that probably still uses MSG, all the others are just a weak comparison. Even the fast food type Greek place is good around here. I'd hate to see them all go away as more Chipotle and the like move in. Then again, XXX is still going strong even next to McDonald's so there's still hope. Then again, XXX is open 24 hours and is fantastic drunk food.
The fun thing about living in the international dorm is there are all sorts of menus for these random places I never would have heard of otherwise that get shoved under my door. I'm not a complete foodie (I still have a hard time eating most seafood, particularly if it's cooked). But I love sushi. Particularly tuna. New sushi place A BLOCK AND A HALF from my dorm has really really good stuff. I made Sidekick go earlier this week (after Drak and I steaked out the place).
Sorry, just in food bliss. Dear LORD this stuff is good. And I can't get over how purple and how good my milk tea is. Hedonistic Cendri is Hedonistic. All I need is some hot chicks fanning me.
