As long as you don’t take out any contracts doing your stressed period I’m reverting is okay.
Firstly getting the not exactly relevant things out of the way, reading Veld after reading Vimes from Discworld series feels like you’ve stumbled from one looking glass into another. Also, I could help thinking what able Aeris during and post the Elfe revelation but that’s because I’m a fan girl as I know she’s not as important to Veld as Felicia and the Turks.
Tseng was by far my most favorite part of this. Tseng not being Veld is so awesome. I also like how you showed his change and how he meshed with everything else. The comparisons between Rufus and Vincent were also a nice touch. I liked all the interactions.
While I liked the story itself, it felt a little too disjointed to read properly maybe that’s because I was putting to much effort placing it in what I know of BC as doing that is quite distracting and hurts the brain.
