I dunno if you've ever played Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu II, but the female characters in it are pretty awesome. The heroine rocks my damn socks, and she kicks ass all over the place wearing pink pants. XD If you level up the weapon she starts off with (gloves) enough, SHE WILL THROW HADOUKENS AT PEOPLE.
I love that game so very much.
And I think a lot of girls in gaming start off doing the 'but I'm not like those other doofus girls!' dance; it's a thing, it's how we're "supposed to act" according to everyday society, and it's a hard habit to break but it's worth it in the long run, she said, preaching to the choir once more. So if someone gets up my nose for liking a hot character, well - let 'em! It's like "LOL U PICKD THAT GUY CUZ U THINK HEZ HOT" "Well yeah." "LOL GURL GAMER" "Well\...yeah, I play games and have a nootch, therefore I am a girl gamer...your point being?" and then there's really nowhere for the HURF Squad to go. XD

And twitch skills are a pain XD; How the hell come I can be a jumpy bundle of reflexes and doom all the time but I can't do buttonsmash sequences?
