While I tend to cringe and go OH GOD NO at white cosplayers who basically do blackface/yellowface (I'm sorry, but nastyfuck cultural baggage exists in fandom too, so can we puh-LEASE just not do that, fans - if you're white and want to cosplay Sazh just be a caucasian Sazh for the love of god) - yeah, they're not necessarily the subject of this post. And that Cloud guy is amazing.
Also, one of the coolest costumes I ever saw was an Optimus Prime getup made entirely of cardboard. I have no idea how the guy did it but he looked epic. XD
And sports pad things make amazing armour. So does craft foam.
