Here's my aggregate of things I've read this week. Because who wants to think when they can link?

If you don't read any of the others, this link explains a lot of the things I yammer about concerning educational games. So if you're confused about what I do, I do something along the lines of that.

- Top 50 Essential Nonfiction Books for Weirdos Don't agree with all of these, but it's an interesting list nonetheless.

- Weapons-based Notebooks I find this cute, but I'm a little twisted. XD

- Corset X-Rays from 1908 Ouch?

- Experimental e-lit from around the world

- Unsung Heroes: Nancy Wake. Hello plotbunny. Maybe someday I will write a WWII infused story, since I'm mildly obsessed with it (sad, but true).

- Reality is Broken Remember that video about how gaming can change the world? Well, Jane McGonigal wrote a book now! I haven't started reading it yet, but I did buy the ebook.

- Data analysis on trolling Trigger warning for mentions of rape.

- Mental disabilities and higher ed. Yet another reminder that the system is broken.

- Nerdcore Now Free download of some nerdcore musics.

- Best questions for first dates. Odd correlations from OKCupid.

- Hot and Sour Lemongrass Soup with Mushrooms and Tofu. Tasty sounding soup that is good for colds. I may be making some of this if my stomach doesn't clear up soon.

- Custom LEGO minifigs based on videogame characters Cute!

- Fitness for people who hate exercise. Like me! My plan is actually to combine gaming with a treadmill and Wii Sports again, because I do not feel healthy. :<

- Strangers 1800: Music from Spaghetti Westerns

- Extremely METAL greeting cards

- Guidelines for workwear across the working spectrum For ladyfolk. Because it's not as simple as a suit and tie (well, I do that, but that's ME).

- Bill Nye on Science Education. Because the single best talk I saw in college was Bill Nye making some NASA product hack guy look like an idiot. LOVE YOU BILL NYE.

- Game concept videogame sketches blog

And in free/cheap indie games that look interesting news, here's a couple adventure games!

- Scarlett and the Spark of Life (iPhone/iPad) I really like that classic-style adventure games are making a comeback on phones.

- Life Flashes By (Windows/Mac/Linux) Haven't started it, but the fact that the main character is a middle-aged woman was enough to hook me.
