crankyoldmanIt's gonna be a long one. As always, sometimes I link things I do not agree with, in order to remind myself of stuff that is out there. If you always read things that align with your opinion, there is no room to grow, imo.
ALSO HELP MY FRIEND GET OUT OF ARIZONA. No really dudes.
- 9 free things you need to stop paying for. My only objection is books. Sometimes you should buy books because you want authors to make a living, after all, and keep writing awesome books.
- An amazing Wheatley puppet. There were several Wheatley's at Otakon that I recall and a couple adorkable human!Wheatley's as well.I still haven't played Portal 2 yet though.
- Jonathan's Card... a social experiment.
- Revolights: a kickstarter project. I kind of want to see this happen, as someone who has to bike to get to a lot of places this would help a lot. Too bad I don't have a trendy road bike, though (mountainbikes make more sense in my area, where pavement can suddenly disappear!).
- List of 25 Female-Fronted Comedies Just an FYI The House of Yes has twincest. If you're into that. If not, you're warned.
- How to make whipped cream from coconut milk mmmm.
- Engineering and helping society; why the disconnect? These are the kinds of discussions that I have with my female interns, actually!

- I fangirl this astronaut hardkore, btw. I mean SHE WAS ON STAR TREK: TNG EVEN.

- Exploring the ruins of Gary Indiana. As beautiful as the images are, I can't help but be annoyed by what I hear about a lot of urban explorer types. They can be disrespectful. I think these dudes weren't like that, though.
- Feminism 101: Helpful Hints for Dudes Part 6 HOW NOT TO BE CREEPY.
- How to get an alternative lifestyle haircut. All stereotypes aside, hair can matter sometimes. And my hair is apparently too straight for the gay in this town right now. Just FYI.
- Sourcing vintage fabric.
- Crowdfunding Feminism
- How important is interactive storytelling in educational games?
- Geekery and the humanities. I have to admit, my humanities side is what keeps me from being an asshole robot.
