Fine, one quickie

crankyoldmanAlright, so I forgot it was Monday again, and my RA roped me into sitting with the group for dinner. Which is ok, but I really just wanted to read some Watchmen and have a quiet dinner to myself before devoting myself to programming. But she's cute and within my age bracket, so I tend to cave. Goddamn brunettes.
So our faculty fellow Mr. British was there, which is fun, because I know a couple Brits and I get their sense of humor. Also he's intelligent enough to talk to me about well, my work. No offense to the girls or my RA it just isn't their field, is all.
The point of this story was Mr. British, upon sitting down informs me that he apparently talked to one of the Aero professors about me, because he's working on some gaming related project for our department. I'd heard a little about it, actually knew someone that almost got hired on with it, fun times. But I haven't gotten, well, recommended or talked about much since going to college, as I sort of kept my head low and tried not to fail most of the time here.
So I guess this means I have to quit being lazy and drop by Professor D's office already. Considering I have Brit mention. XD
Also, it was nice to be able to talk to an adult excitedly about how I'm designing an educational module and for him to get excited with me. My god do I miss work. Realized that this past week despite keeping mostly on top of things I've hit that kind of mood. Can't help a brain imbalance, sometimes, I suppose. Going to purchase some dark chocolate, then.
Now I must program. Enough putting it off.
