Registration: DONE. Despite the TERRIBLE programming of our new registration/stuff system, I managed to get it done (with help, there were some overrides needed). Here I go into the breach of those Trouble Classes again. So here's the lineup:

- Aerodynamics II (repeat) [MWF 11:30-12:20]
- Thermodynamics (repeat... yes I know) [MWF 10:30-11:20]
- Differential Equations II (very likely to drop this and hold off until Fall) [TTh 12:00-1:15]
- Mechanics of Composites [MWF 2:30-3:20]
- Vehicle Dynamics (like, stuff with wheels, it's a Mechanical Engineering class Prof California recommended to me, and I trust him) [MWF 3:30-4:20]

No, I'm not keeping all those classes. I'm going to all five for the first week and then picking one to drop. Nearer to midterms I may decide to drop another, since I cannot fail two classes. If I was cranky this past semester, I'm likely to be even MORE cranky this semester, so I apologize profusely already. Then again, it may be easier since I have no labs or project-style classes that will eat time and be more fun than the classes I need to get through. And my history with Prof Collicock (Aero II prof) suggests that I need to fail his class once before he'll consider passing me. Because he's a jerk like that. I can't wait until I'm graduated and I have a chance to beat him on grant funding or something. Revenge is a dish best served with... peas.

I am however surprised at how well the actual schedule times turned out. Pretty good for signing up DAYS before classes start, eh?

So I was an idiot that totally forgot my computer at home this morning, so I had to hijack Captain Tom's computer to send off the last bit that Team Fun needed for the proposal. Then I came back home, because it's silly to come back here to grab my comp and then go back and work like three hours. So working remote it is. There was some slight freaking out over getting stuff in (the proposal is due at 5) but a while ago I was informed they had all they needed from me and I've just been reading through our resources so I can have an idea what I'll be doing come Summer. Winter break is so short! I miss work already. And I got some congratulatory IMs from the bosses and others on writing the bulk for this proposal--I actually get my name at the top this time!

I so wish I could discuss details. Ah, confidentiality agreements. There are space elevators involved.

And a few linkages:

+ Retrofuture style! I love shit like this. I want the Tron-like hat really bad. I may have to try and make it.

+ What's Wrong With Vogue? You mean other than it takes itself too seriously?

+ MS PAINT. I saw this and thought of you, [personal profile] firefly99

+ Stop talking about doing, and get doing. I think we all have issues with this sometimes.

P.S. Long neglected JannoWriMo... a story is finished! FF7:BC. I need to add up my wordcount now. It's somewhere around 1,000 now, I think. Only 9,000 to go!

I absolutely love David Bowie. I love artists that change and grow over the years, but still maintain the core of themselves. I love that he experimented in all SORTS of ways and that he is the epitome of male androgyny. I am slowly collecting every album of his, and as many random singles/collabs as I can find. I recently found Low at a local music store, having been unable to find it other places, because it only has one song on it that would make a Greatest Hits compilation. I've been wanting it for a while, because since it was one of the less popular albums it showed up on Pandora and "Be My Wife" was a song I came to like a lot. So let's go through some of the Bowie albums that are special to me, and why.
