- BUTTONS HAVE BEEN SEWN ON. I've decided not to worry about finishing off the buttonholes, since you can't see them anyway and I only have so much free time between classes and stuff. It functions, that's enough. With my GIANT GROMMETED BELT the steam!Auron costume gets the point across. Debating whether to find shades or just wear my glasses for now, as they're nifty wireframes anyway. Don't have a proper cowl, but the collar sticks up decently. I kind of want a flask. XD
- Hat is done! The addition of the really awesome giant pin thing REALLY MAKES IT. Sets off the peacock and crow-like feathers excellently and sort of harkens back to Edea's normal crazy headdress. Kind of makes me want to learn how to make my own cinch skirt for everyday wear. INSANE I KNOW. Costuming is dangerous, it makes me want to make stuff. XD
- A friend of mine has a children's book that she did with her sister (she's the illustrator) and it's really cute. Part of this intriguing memetales website, which she asked me to help plug. XD Here's an explanation of the concept in the blog.
- I love not having classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays... it makes my life, really. Even if I'm stuck on this stupid linearization problem. WTF, aerodynamics. I don't REMEMBER the MacLaurin Series! Time to hit the five billion math books I own and figure it out. At least there's that handy online aerodynamics textbook which helps sometimes.
- This is why I love The Guild. Felicia Day; proof that hot nerdy girls do exist (other than my friends, of course). Poor girl, I can only imagine her fanboys.
