Alright, more than spiders, more than death and other normal things I am so wickedly afraid of missing a final. Like, sleeping through it. You cannot believe my paranoia there.
WELL GUESS WHO DIDN'T SET HER ALARM RIGHT?
Luckily, my internal doom-dar work me up at 8:40 (my exam was at 8), and since we're given two hours for finals, I did not miss it. And I forced myself to basically stop hyperventilating and haul ass on my bike. I managed to get the programming exam done in under an hour anyway, and have a few minutes to study for history, because that exam was right after. Yeah, WAY TO SCHEDULE MY EXAMS ASSHOLE ADMINISTRATORS.
I think I did alright on both, possibly fantastic, despite. But god the adrenaline just wore off and I feel, well, shaky as hell. And my right hand fell asleep during the history exam from writing. I should probably look into that, as that hand keeps falling asleep on me. Please let's not have any diseases now, I need to graduate in a year or so.
Interesting side note:
The girl that sat next to me in history all year who I occasionally talked to totally came from my hometown. Hell, my high school. Year before me, she's got a kid and stuff, so she was a bit delayed in going to college. Small world. I thought her specific accent seemed familiar (yes, you can generally tell which part of Indiana some people are from, it's subtle, but it's there). So there was slightly awkward talk:
Girl: So who did you hang with?
Me: Nerds. Like, name an academic club and I was in it. To keep from being bored.
Girl: Oh, I used to skip class and go smoke behind the school.
Me: I would have written nasty things about you in my notebook.
Girl: And I probably would have thought you a stuck-up bitch and whispered things to my friends about you.
Me: We totally probably had lots of common friends.
Girl: Oh yeah. *laughs*
Mind you, this was said in a perfectly ironic and friendly tone. I love meeting people once they get over high school. Sometimes it takes a long time, but I'd imagine History Girl had to get over it a lot sooner than her peers. I mean, she has to drive halfway to B-town to drop off her daughter tomorrow so she can study for her last final. That's dedication. And she's an ME (mechanical engineer). Again, dedication. Considering my black hole of a high school, I freaking love hearing stuff like that.
Now I feel bad for complaining, like, ever. XD
I think it's time to eat before I pass out...

P.S. MORE STRIKETHROUGHS MAKE ME HAPPY.
