Wait, I’m confused, just because something doesn’t occur in canon doesn’t mean it’s going against canon does it. It’s not like Iffy said Gast was her first or the pair of them were destined forever. Besides Iffy was quite unattached for seven years post Gast and all the before time. Not to say it is at all plausible within the context of canon just that it doesn’t contradict canon what’s been established.
Besides in some ways it gives canon some sense. ;p
