I'm getting better at this whole have a meltdown and then have stuff to recover thing. Hopefully this will not cause ulcers. Or bipolarness. But I have costumes now, and a new vintage necklace (it was cheap and I had been budgeting myself so I could splurge when Drak visited, mostly on food... mmm... food) and lots of goodies from the parents. Who have been traveling too much. Those jet setters.

Anyway, things that are good:

- "Gay Drama" at the more authentic hookah place. I feel sorry for random people around West Laff--there were two crazy people on the loose, making up stories about you.

- Taking a walk downtown and stopping for beer samples at the brewery

- drakonlily

- Seeing my dad and him telling me that I finally have my head on straight (ha ha, irony)

- Getting some old clothes from Drak that may be useful for either a gunner!Aeris or a BlackMage!Aeris. Translation: pink.

- Mad Men, of which I want to write a huge thing about now.

- Having lots of leftovers in my fridge. FOOD FOR DAYS.

- Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which is a movie most of my f-list would appreciate. No really. It's hilariously awesome.

- Having ALL MY HALLOWEEN COSTUMES. Sudden random urges to show up to class like a ninja can be followed up on now.

- Witch broom!

- Tea!

- My first ever order of Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs perfume is coming in the mail soon. I sound like such a consumer, but this was something I ordered some time ago, and it's just samplers. I think I'm getting even more girly as the years go by. XD

Point. I just have an internal guilt thing that kicks in when I buy things that are purely cosmetic--clothes and jewelry at least can technically have some utility, but perfume just strikes me as completely silly sometimes.

Ha, so funny story with that.

drakonlily and I tend to get silly sometimes, and we were like, "hey, what if..." and well. One of our what if sessions was like, "dude, if Yuna gets guns in the sequel, why didn't Aeris get to be like, a black mage or a gunner or something?" And since we both kind of love dresspheres just for the sheer "HEY LET'S PLAY DRESSUP" factor, we kind of sat down and played around with some dressphere ideas.

This also involved discussions for her doing Dark Knight!Tifa, too. XD But I always thought it'd be fun to do a gunner version of Aeris, which involves hot pink and a shorter skirt and water pistols (since, you know, cons and all). I sorta want to have it ready by Halloween, since Drak'll be out, but we're still not sure what we're wearing on the ACTUAL day. I just know there will be lots of silly costumes before it. XD

So that's basically it. If I could draw I'd have sketches. I'm obviously not one for doing the obvious.

Well, I suppose not in X-2 dressphere type styling, she wouldn't. I guess I mean less Black Mage and more Dark!Aeris, like that rumor for the game that went around the internet that you could bring her back, only instead of healing she'd killify things more. XD

It's just fun getting hand-me-downs. Gets my costuming ideas flowing.
