It is possible, with a little bit of transfer-finnagling, to get within 4 blocks of my place between Metra and the CTA. :)
Currently there is something like a plan for having first_seventhe come visit for a weekend in June for our every-several-months drinking, gaming, fanficcing, etc. celebration. You'd be quite welcome to join us if you wished :)
