One of those days

crankyoldmanI am fully convinced that some days are made just to fuck with me.
Good things:
+ Snagged an amazing Moogle Fluff prompt. It's like one of those stories that has been in my brain and never got the chance to get out. Tifa! First days in Midgar! Subverting the rape trope (as in, there was none, because this is Tifa dammit)!
+ Finally posted the Repo! FST that I did. No cover, because who really has the time?
+ Finally posted some links with minor commentary inwe_r_nerpunk (DW: ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
nerdpunk).
+phoenixmonthly put out a new issue (as I'm not on staff because this summer was nuts and this semester will be nuts and yeah). So go cheer on the other dudes that worked on it!
+ Got the interface work and mostly through the numbers for the redesign! Yeah! Except I was working until like 6:30! And had to stop because of... what you'll see in the bad section.
Bad things:
+ Financial aid is still being silly about my monies. And by silly I mean ridiculous. And by ridiculous I mean that I got an email at the end of work and scared Major Tom the nice older guy with the string of expletives that rang forth from my mouth. It's a good thing that there were only a couple dudes in the office and I'm Major Tom's fave, just saying.
+ Books were like $500 this year. D: For three books. Fucking rip-offs. I hope you book publishers burn in hell! SERIOUSLY.
+ I hate packing. At least I spread it out over a week and just pack in sections (kitchen stuffs, desk stuff, toys, clothes... etc). Love moving (newness! excitement!) but hate packing.
