crankyoldmanAka, stuff I've been doing lately.
A charity intra-league theme bout, full of fun costumes. Not helping with my desire to do like, roller derby versions of video game characters for costumes, lemme tell you (I have the perfect vest for Squall >.>).
This is one of their coaches. He is derby'd Rosie the Riveter. I was impress.
I have this thing for Wonder Woman, ok?

The gal dressed as Wario also frequently did some 8-bit moves.

But my favorite was The Flash, whose shirt was ripped down the middle so she could also "flash" people. Also she's quite literally their fastest skater. Oh and on the villains side there is Tonya Harding. I lol'd.
My biggest things I'm working on is trying to get together the three Avatar: The Last Airbender cosplays I am in charge of.
Toph is finished (at least the bits I was making):

Got help from my mom to make the Azula firecrown forseventhe:
Made Yue's assorted bling, will style the wig soon:
And I've gotten the rough pieces of the Iroh costume cut out, gonna do the necklines and hopefully piece it together today. The nicest thing about men's clothing is that I don't have to worry about waist and hip curves and boobs and can pretty much do a lot of rectangles.
Also if that goes well I'll get the Yue underdress made, as I still need to order the silk for the overdress. I'm thinking this light lavender silk to sort of mirror her not Moon Spirit costume. Underdress is is white.
