Let us take inventory. I LIKE LISTS AND COMMENTARY.

Games Completed/Beaten
Does not include most of my iphone or browser games. Um.

- Sam and Max 101: Culture Shock (PCDL) This is complete shenanigans, I am fond.
- Breath of Fire III (PS) SO GOOD.
- Cooking Mama (NDS)
- Cooking Mama 2 (NDS) Graphics were much improved from the first.
- Metal Gear Solid (PS) My mind, it is blown.
- Back to the Future: The Game Kind of still fangirling over this not gonna lie.
- Fatale (PCDL) Beautiful, especially after I got my graphics card replaced.
- 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors (NDS) THIS IS SO META I DON'T THINK YOU UNDERSTAND.
- LEGO Batman (NDS) So cuuuuuute.
- Final Fantasy IV DS (NDS) Finished at the beginning of the year still counts.
- Plants Vs. Zombies (iPhone) Though they keep making more contents, yay.
- Professor Layton and the Unwound Future (NDS) THE END IS FULL OF SAD, GUYS.
- 2nd playthrough of Silent Hill 2 Maria Ending, omg.

Games Acquired But Not Yet Beaten

- Monster Tale (NDS) So this is a platformer with a default main character who is FEMALE. And the main villain is like snotty PRINCESS PEACH. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (PS2) Playthrough and commentary: coming to you when I finish P3: FES's THE ANSWER section and maybe Monster Tale.
- Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (PS2)
- Chime (PCDL) I play this on lunchbreak when I seriously need to chill.
- All the other Sam and Max games (there was a special this summer) To be played at random times!

Books Finished

- The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde HOW HAD I NEVER READ THIS BEFORE OMG.
- Bible Camp Bloodbath by Joey Comeau Literally what the title says. Some light summer reading for me.
- Reality is Broken by Jane McGonigal
- Chew Volume 1: Taster's Choice by John Layman and Rob Guillory This is both cute and disgusting I love it.
- Fables Volume 10: The Good Prince by Bill Willingham and Mark Buckingham I love Flycatcher but the Jesus/Arthur allegory was a bit heavy handed.
- Y: The Last Man, Vol. 1: Unmanned, Vol. 2: Cycles, and Vol. 3: One Small Step by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra I literally just read 2 & 3 today and am going to the library for more tomorrow because this is a really interesting storyline.
- And these Lois McMaster Bujold Vorkosigan Saga books (some of which are omnibuses): Young Miles, Miles, Mutants, and Microbes, Miles Errant, Memory, Miles in Love, and Diplomatic Immunity.
- Red Hood's Revenge, The Stepsister Scheme, and The Snow Queen's Shadow by Jim C. Hines. I do not recommend the last one at all.
- The entire Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins. Either read just the first book and skip the first half of the second or just wait for the movies, is my opinion. I kind of want to un-buy the last book really badly.

Notable TV Shows/Anime Completed
Not included: my BS stuff I barely pay attention to while cleaning or other things.

- Xena: Warrior Princess FINALLY I HAVE SEEN ALL THAT IS WORTH SEEING OF THIS SHOW. Best episodes either had Xena and Gabby bickering like the old married couple they were or had Callisto in it. OR BOTH.
- Parks & Recreation At least what's on Netflix. This is kind of like a freaky documentary of the two main places in Indiana I've lived and is also really really funny. Everyone is my hero on this show.
- Skins (UK) I really love the Season 5 cast a lot. I wish US teen shows were this short and packed this much punch.
- Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo I'm still processing this one.
- Tears to Tiara Or how to take a dating sim based very slightly on Arthurian legend and make it as gay as possible.
- Samurai Champloo Oh this anime. My heart.
- The Sacred Blacksmith If you want lesyay between a lady knight and her swords which turns into a chick, this is the show for you.

TV Shows Started

- Buffy: The Vampire Slayer I was mostly just watching Star Trek when this came out I have no defense. idk my bff Giles?
- Star Trek: Deep Space Nine A rewatch in which I see everything. When it was first out I really loved Kira and Jadzia Dax and Odo. So far this hasn't changed.

Notable Movies
Not all, because I seriously watch a SHIT TON of movies and some of them are really bad.

- An Education Really impressed with the lead actress and sort of want to see everything she's been in or will be in now.
- Cat on a Hot Tin Roof Worth seeing for Elizabeth Taylor being fabulous, and how much the censors tried to hide that this was about THE GAY and how melodramatic Tennesee Williams' stuff could get about that.
- She Done Him Wrong I would pretty much marry the heroine in this. She's fierce.
- Malice in Wonderland A really fun modern interpretation of Alice in Wonderland which was way better than I thought it would be.
- The Runaways Surprisingly good and SURPRISE FEMMESLASH.
- Agora Thinky and interesting even if it took some dramatic liberties with history.
- Easy A I haven't liked a modern teen movie this much since Mean Girls
- Double Dare! Wonderful documentary about stuntwomen.
- The Pixar Story Another well-down documentary.
- And Then Came Lola It's a gay variation on Run Lola Run which worked surprisingly well!
- Trainspotting So the emos and the hipster boys got their skinny pants from junkies. Huh.
- Red State I had lots of feelings with this movie, so I can't really give an objective opinion?
- The People I've Slept With HOLY SHIT THAT IS GROWN UP RICKY FROM MY SO-CALLED LIFE. Also featuring: bisexuality.

My favorite story this year (of my own): The Future is Yours (So Fill This Part In) (FFVII). Elfe is really refreshing to write.

My best story this year: Whatever Happened in the Meantime (FFVII). It came out really well and fit the prompt.

Story most under-appreciated: Natural Anthem (FFVII) had the least hits, but I usually don't feel like a story "under" anything. People read it or they don't.

Most fun story: One Drop in the Gene Pool (Repo!/Aeon Flux). I mean come on THE CROSSOVER ALONE.

Most sexy story: Armor (FFIV). Well it had the most sex I didn't write a lot of that this year.

Story with single sexiest moment: Whatever Happened in the Meantime. Shera and Scarlet UST, man.

Story with single sweetest moment: Waving from Such Great Heights (FFVII). Considering the characters this is hilarious.

Most unintentionally telling story: I'm the Hero of This Story (Don't Need to be Saved) (FFIV). Yeah.

"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: I didn't have any of that this year. No really, I'm serious. But considering I've play MGS now, next year may not be so lucky.

Most disappointing story: The Edge of Glory (FFIV), because it's not finished and I got myself into something long like an idiot.

Hardest story to write: The Edge of Glory. Because it is longfic and I don't do that very often.

Easiest story to write: SnowBlind (FFVIII). It practically wrote itself.

This year's theme and the story that demonstrates it most: Lady Issues, and What is this Het? Demonstrated by... pretty much everything I wrote this year.

- Got a raise. Significant! It was about time.
- Got an apartment. In the middle of downtown, for a very decent price, and wonderfully colorful. This place has been great.
- Got rejected and applied to grad school again. We'll see what happens this time. Still working on the app for the backup school.
- Have eaten food from pretty much every restaurant downtown. I like food.
- Went camping in October. Also was on a boat.
- Ate way more vegetables than ever before. Living not terribly far from the Farmer's Market helped with that. Still have yet to make it to the Winter Market, as that requires a bus and planning. XD
- Have started to take major steps to handle my stress. Baby steps.

- Continue to manage stress. Because seriously, it'll kill me if I keep up just ignoring it.
- Take a dance class. There's apparently a good Salsa class around here and they are super non gender conforming and would let me be the lead.
- Get London vacation to happen. Working out passport BS now. Any tips for travel around the city (but not places to stay, I got that) would be helpful.
- Make steps to get out of Btown. Despite certain positives (the food, family being here, having a job) it has become obvious that I am not happy here. Granted my backup grad school is here, but that's only for a Master's and that still counts as making steps. I'm not sure where to go, but I grew up here and I've always wanted to not END UP here, so I need to make that happen. Maybe not right away,
- Continue sewing costumes that make me happy. I must not like ennui and laziness get in my way. I love sewing. Even if I get into grad school, I should keep it up.

I think you're doing a pretty good job of investigating places you might want to live by visiting, like, everyone ever. So you're starting on that one. Acknowledging you want to leave is harder than most people seem to think.

Good luck on everything!

I would also say Lady issues should be the theme every year ;P
