On RSS Feeds

Yo.
Since I have a paid account until April, I was wondering if any of you would like for me to syndicate your journals (or websites!) wherever they are for you (be it here, on GJ, IJ, Blogger, whatever). I'm getting all the stuff into my googlereader (google owns me, but their stuff is just so elegant), which I've actually had more of a dependency on than this site, so I want to make sure I don't have duplicates. Considering I am trying to make myself as 1337 as possible, I may actually learn how to do some real RSS and not let LJ do it for me. Personal project.
Yes, I know, I have way too many personal projects. I can't help it. I like learning things, and I like sharing things I've learned. Why do you think I like making an educational video game so much?
Also, if you already have an RSS feed of some kind, feel free to comment on that too. I'm not too worried about my f-list as a whole, because my style layer has it set up so that my entire f-list here gets delivered to my Reader (I know, isn't that neat?) I'd still like to know as I'm not sure if it'll still be the case when my paid account runs out (man am I glad I don't have 100+ friends now).
Another thing to note whenever you friend a syndicated count on here is that chances are it will flood your f-list the first day. It even does it with the big feeds like
xkcd_rss and all that. That's the nature of the beast, but it shouldn't do that after the first day (I've been checking on some of mine that I've created and yup, no problems). The best way to not be annoyed by this is to use f-list filters. You know, that annoying thing that pops up when you friend someone and asks what groups you want them to be in? It's really actually quite useful. Also, the toolbar thing at the top that annoys a lot of people? It has a "view" drop-down box, and some of the default views are "journals only" "comms only" and "feeds only". Get some filter-fu.
You can tell it's a slow day at work, can't you?
The only two I've made for myself are
shinra_blog and
venefica_fic. My only warning about the second one is that LJ does not recognize the cuts I put in there. I may need to fiddle with it, or find a way to just make it send links instead of content. I'm playing around.
I'm almost half tempted to start up a running list of feeds of people I know. Kind of a like a directory. Hmm.
Anywho, just let me know if you have a feed already, if not and you're on my f-list on GJ especially I am going to make one for you.
Oh! ONE HUGE IMPORTANT THING. If you make your own syndicated feed on ANY site, make sure you do not give it your normal username. LJ treats a feed like a username! Instead try something like username_blog or username_gj or something.
Ok, I've wasted enough time. Now onto my "making the internet your bitch" series. I'm in a real "how to" mood.

P.S. None of this applies if you have an LJ and nothing else. LJ provides an RSS feed for your journal automatically.
