crankyoldman+ I officially have a single room! NO ANNOYING ROOMMATE YES. Not that I don't mind sharing an apartment with someone, just a room has brought me nothing but grief. It's a freaking small room (8x17), but I really don't care. XD My first choice dorm AND a single. This is good.
+ I barely slept last night and am really tempted to leave early today. Ugh.

yuletide fic. This is my problem, I try to write substance when I prolly should write PWP. XD When I should be seeing, "just get them to make out!" my brain interprets that as, "turn it into an indictment of post-high school life!" Graaa.
+ I think I may be seeing The Golden Compass tonight. I don't remember if its tonight or tomorrow night. I hope that was tonight. Because I've really been looking forward to it. I'll probably love it no matter how they handle it, because I sort of like the paring down process that screenplays do from source books. It'll be interesting to see which parts they focus on (if the previews aren't an indication, which I hope, because the previews look awesome).

Date: 2007-12-18 08:29 pm (UTC)The previews of the Golden Compass are pretty awesome looking and all the dry parts with no plot significance will have to be cut in order to keep it condensed. Was all that explanation over Lyra’s childhood exploits necessary. If the kids weren’t here I’d have already seen it.
