IT RETURNS

+ Vacation was great. Hanging with family and a Residence style hotel room wins a lot. Some highlights:
- The Book Loft. Imagine, if you will, a building so packed with books that you need a map to get through it. Soo better than Barnes & Noble. I made out like a bandit, with gifts for a couple people and a couple books for me.Tim Gunn book acquired!
- We went to a cute little French bistro that played Edith Piaf and served really good soup and sandwiches. I clearly need to live in German Village in Columbus. Because yeah.
- COSI!!! I haven't been to a science museum since high school, I believe, and that was a Smithsonian. While the space exhibit was a bit smaller than I'd hoped, it was still a lot of fun.
- Boston Market makes better turkey than my mom. Don't tell her that.
- I tested out my caffeine tolerance, since, what the hell. I can drink coffee again without dying, now.
+ I liked Battlestar Galactica: Razor. I might have a crush on Helena Cain, even if she's crazy. Actually, probably because she's crazy. Adama is still awesome.
+ Discovery Channel is doing a history of video games series. I think the guy that invented Tetris is probably the happiest Russian ever. He's so smiley!
+ I'm sorely tempted to do a "choose your own adventure" as a guide for people at work. Depends on how much time I have.
+ I have acquired more teaching materials. Unfortunately, it's a lot of the same. No offense to you teachers? But really, the same problem about moon rocks has gotten really really old.
+ Organized my tags while driving to Columbus. I love you ridiculously long battery life.
+ Made earrings. Pictures whenever I get around to it. Made from washers, old school resistors, and wire. Shiny.
+ Thoughts on the holidays.
