Not ded, just occupied

drakonlily. I spent all of Friday cleaning/preparing/otherwise making things pretteh, so that's why I wasn't around then. She arrived sometime around tenish, and then it was the Geekiest Weekend evar.
- We have discovered the hookah bar around here has the best crowd of dorks evar. Techno music + nice smell = win. We were particularly fond of this REALLY nerdy guy and his insanely hot girlfriend--we can't help it, we love seeing that, it's like something is right with the world. Also saw the Most Energetic Indian Girl Evar.
- The Brave One is an awesome movie. But I'm pretty sure that anything Jodi Foster stars in I will love. Plus, it was morally ambiguous and contained wonderful wonderful cinematography. She was so Tally.
- The Irish pub is still awesome, and I might like rugby. Football is such a pansy sport, really. XD Granted, if there were actual gladiatorial games, I'd be all about that. There was a moment of embarrassment because the owner of the place recognized me. I recall a certain time being in there that involved loud arguments about Communism and comments about a certain person's rack. Yeah.
- Cary Grant.
- It's getting warmer, so there was some walking around, which is always great. I like walking.
So overall, good times. <3 And now:
- The Hunt For Red October is on TV today. <3 Words cannot describe my adoration for that movie.
- Dexter is starting on a network I can actually get with the school cable tonight. I kind of wanted to read the books first, but meh, might as well see the show until I can get to that.

spoony_bards claim, which would be new for me. As I've never finished a claim like that before, as I suck.
- The Midgar FST should be up sometime tonight, will be f-locked, because yeah. I'm ridiculously fond of this one, because it let me use a lot of music I've wanted to FST for a while.
Now to rustle up some grub.
