That whole series really feels like he's fumbling for a point and never quite reaches it. I mean the RULES ALL in "Till We Have Faces" and his space trilogy was really cool and "The Screwtape Letters" just makes me go "O_o;;;;;" every time I read it. And while I liked "Narnia" as a kid, and I still like it now, I've seen fanfic that was better constructed. :P There are a few things that make me go "whut???" till this day. I'm not sure even Lewis knew what he was getting at, or what the characters were really like. I dunno. It's one of those things that you wonder if he would have liked to go back and update/edit them if he could?
