- Exam in about an hour, can't really shove much more in my head. I think I have an intuitive grasp on this class now, and too much looking at stuff beforehand will just freak me out. And I can breathe easier because I've got a B average on exams. So yeah.
- Today it just occurred to me why my dad is so smug at family reunions, especially now that my sister is in college. He's got one daughter studying rocket science and one studying microbiology. He's got major spawn bragging rights. I mean, my uncle John's got one kid studying to be a doctor and one that's an accountant, but those are less shiny. XD Plus, they're boys.
Weird thing to think of, but no wonder Dad's such a smiley smug punk around his relatives. Especially considering the tendency for trophy wives on that side of the family (I wish I were kidding. I think that fate spat up daughters just to throw my dad for a loop).
Wow, perspective and all that. I need to stop feeling so dumb. XD
- Tomorrow I get to go out to the hangar at the airport where they keep the wind tunnel and other experiments to work on our horizontal stabilizer so it can be ready for display. And since no one else started on it and Spunky Leader Chick does enough already, it looks like I'm writing the description for the display. Time to pull out the teacher-ese. SLC is glad I apparently can do that, because she said she defaults straight to engineer-speak, which we all know is generally incomprehensible. Even if I'm just windexing and stuff I find it kind of exciting to work out at the airport lab. Though it makes me crave tea something terrible. ~_^
- Wrote a little of my poem today! Yeah, I'M STILL WORKING ON IT. Lavinia is fun, because I like Rooks a lot. The rook piece in chess has an interesting history, and I like working with that. I might post an excerpt after my exam.
- I CAN PUT NINJAS IN MY GMAIL. That's really awesome.
- I really need to share this cover that I'm listening to currently. It's kind of fabulous. I used to catch the "Crazy in Love" video at really random times, it was like it followed me for a while. Hrm.
- Entropy is some crazy damn shit. We're covering that on this exam, and I gotta remember that IT CANNOT BE NEGATIVE. YOU EITHER CREATE ENTROPY OR YOU DON'T. I forgot that a while ago, so I've been sort of chanting it to myself.
- Oh god, I love Tom and Lorenzo so much. Plus eye-candy for you straight girls. I honestly don't know half the list. I know the first three and after that I'm a little spotty. They all look a little young, imo. Where's the grey-haired love? Then again, I prefer guys with their shirts on. XD
