Alright, I'm not really into Christmas and the like. But I was taking a study break and found some old pictures on my external drive that I had taken for the steps to put together pirogies. So here's how to do one of my family traditions. Use a recipe like this or find an old Babushka. Then, follow these illustrated steps!

First, lay flour out on your board. The dough is very sticky otherwise.

Roll out your dough, fairly thin. But not too thin!

Cut out circles. The bigger the circle, the bigger the pirogies.

Get some of your filling out.

Spoon it out onto one of the cut-out circles. Repeat forever.

Wet your finger with some water. This is important! Take that now wet finger and trace it around the edge of the circle.

Fold in half. Using the water will help create a seal so that the filling stays in.

Stamp to further keep it closed, either with a kitchen gizmo or a fork.
Boil and that's it! YUM.
