crankyoldmanOk, so I thought I knew what the hell was going on in Composites. It's not a hard class, really. But WHAT THE FUCK IS A Q MATRIX (I'm afraid to look at my notes now for fear it was something recockulously simple and then cry)?
This is why I hate tests without equation sheets! I memorized a bunch of stuff, just apparently the wrong stuff. I used to think you were cool, Professor Fossil! NOW I REALIZE THAT YOU ARE EVIL. Seriously, and giving me stuff to study that was basically "anything in the notes" DOES NOT HELP BTW.
Alright, some dudes better still be in town, cause I totally need to go have a drink now.
Though, in good news, I got a C on my simulation! FUCK YEAH. Also, apparently my program was not as jacked as I thought, and my graphs were all right or close enough to right to count and I basically just ended up getting points taken off FOR THE DISCUSSION which has me a little o.O because I totally can BS my way out of restraints and a barrel all Houdini style. Clearly I don't know jack about cars, and he can see through that.
Well, I'm already started on the next simulation and will certainly be in his office a lot. He tells me that with a little effort I have a good chance of passing (read: getting a C or D, he seemed to think I was a grad student and I was like, "ha ha, no" and then he perked up. I think I amuse him enough for him to want to keep me in class).
Oh and he totally waived the late penalty, as long as I turn in the other two Sims on time. This man is awesome. It means that now we have lateral control stuff (WHICH IS NOT DEPENDENT ON ENGINE CRAP) I may do better. But I'm not failing miserably, I think I'm in decent shape.
And hey, I can afford to drop Composites if I really super bombed that exam. The professor would be a good judge of wtf to do there. Going to email his ass now.
