FFVII (OGC)
1. The first character I fell in love with: Cid! OMG CID. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOUR AVERAGE AEROSPACE ENGINEER IS LIKE, IT IS HIM.
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Hojo. I owe pretty much all of my good ideas to the existence of this character.
03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Sephiroth. Well, before Crisis Core. But I'm only counting OGC. He wasn't a character then, he was a mental issue. XD
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Depending on what year it is and the state of fandom, pick one: Tifa or Hojo.
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Tseng. I admit, that a fair bit of Turk fandom has kind of ruined him for me. Can he be screwing someone he's not working with for once? Bueller?
06. The character I would shag any time: Tifa. She reminds me how homosexual I am.
07. The character I'd want to be like: Cid! I'm getting there.
08. The character I'd slap: Zack. Kid should have gotten shot IN TRAINING. How can someone that idiotic be like an elite soldier? SRSLY. THE MIND REELS.
09. A pairing that I love: There's quite a few... let's see, current favorite right now is actually Cid/Yuffie, I admit. I think they'd balance out well. Also Tifa/Elena, because I think it would probably be the first healthy relationship for either and I really want them to have something positive. I think I've hung around enough on the dark side to want something you know not dark.
10. A pairing that I hate: Any combination of Sephiroth/Zack/Cloud. Mostly because the fandom has so many stories for it and so many that suck due to the sheer number. It's statistics. Oh and Cid/Vincent. Because what?
11. My five favorite characters: Tifa, Cid, Elena (yes, she was my favorite Turk in OGC), Aeris, Hojo
12. My five least favorite characters: Zack. Really, that's all that needs to be put there. I've been in fandom long enough that it's down to one character I really could just do without. XD
13. Which character I am most like: Aeris, probably. Which is a bit of a shocker and would explain why I tried very hard to dislike her my first playthrough.
14. My deep, dark fandom secret: Joining this fandom contributed to the breakdown of my marriage. And this was a good thing. Wrap your head around that one.
FFVIII
1. The first character I fell in love with: Surprisingly, Rinoa. She actually acted 17. Most of the other characters in that age range didn't and this creeped me the hell out, I admit.
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Cid. God, I really feel for that guy.
03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Squall? I don't hate him, but his general mindset frustrates the hell out of me. That and I've become really bored with coming of age stories. Yes, you survived puberty, congratulations.
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Selphie. She is soooo messed up in the head, positively adore.
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Quistis. I'd still want to shag her, but her general timidity with some things is a little annoying.
06. The character I would shag any time: Quistis, because duh. Whip.
07. The character I'd want to be like: Laguna. XD Yes, I would love to take all the tragedy and angst in life and replace it with that attitude.
08. The character I'd slap: Irvine. Mostly because I had no idea why he didn't just go "oh hey dudes, we grew up together". (and sure, people say this about Tifa not telling Cloud his memories were borked, but Cloud was obviously unstable whereas most of the cast of FF8 would not be acting unstable in Irvine's eyes). It'd be a light slap though, because I wouldn't want to hurt him.
09. A pairing that I love: Cid/Edea, pretty much hands down. They're the real love story of the game for me.
10. A pairing that I hate: Quistis/Seifer. What is this, matching hair colors? Also, Seifer/Zell, because I don't know about you, but I wouldn't turn around and date my childhood bully. Memory loss or not, that's squicky as hell. Put them in a threesome though, and the dynamics change enough I can handle it. XD But on their own, wtf.

13. Which character I am most like: Hrm, this is hard. Rinoa and Ellone's lovechild?
14. My deep, dark fandom secret: I quit playing 2/3 of the way in, because I literally had no idea what was going on anymore. I then watched the ending. I don't feel like I missed much.
Repo! The Genetic Opera
1. The first character I fell in love with: Nathan. He's how I got over my initial reaction to the clips I'd seen, which was "ew, what the hell?" It's nice to have a cranky old man that is actually also really psychotic instead of just fail at things.
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Rotti. Oooh, magnificent bastard.
03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Marni. XD I've never been fond of the "made saintly by being dead" types. I wish we'd gotten to see her as a character, rather than just through Nathan or Rotti's tellings. Even if the berating ghost in Nathan's head was kind of fun.
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Amber, probably. So what, she's played by Paris Hilton, at least the girl did something! The character rocks.
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: I haven't really fallen out of love with anyone?
06. The character I would shag any time: Amber.
07. The character I'd want to be like: I have to admit, Rotti. That'll be my retirement.
08. The character I'd slap: Graverobber. DRUGS ARE BAD. (I'm kidding)

14. My deep, dark fandom secret: I couldn't stand the Zydrate Anatomy song the first time I saw it. Granted, it was out of context of the movie and I shut it off halfway through, but yeah. Protip: watching stuff from Repo! out of context the first time can be jarring.
