Fantastic Life Choices

Going out to a tapas place and bar in a city an hour away when you are starting to get a sore throat means getting home at 5 am and waking up at 8 am with a fever, chills, and deathcold.

This is the first time this weekend I have been cognizant enough to sit down and write a post and not be tripping while feverish (truefact: every time I get a fever above 100 degrees I hallucinate) or completely assed out on the couch or in bed.

I'm going to see if videogames or sewing are things I can do in order to keep my focus. I know better than to write, even though my FFEX prompts are awesome.

So yeah kids, if you're starting to feel sick, don't go out! It will come back at you with a vengeance.

Edit: Well I was well enough to finish up the beginning of my Aeon Flux/Repo! crossover.

My first year of FFEX was full of prompts I wasn't too excited about, but I managed to turn out two really good stories from it. So take heart.

I think my mistake was saying I'd write for FFVII, because...enh, it's not my favorite. I just listed it because I knew lots of people like it and I can write from it. SO naturally the only prompt I can write (two of my prompts are for fandoms I'm not into, one of which I haven't even ever played, sob) is the FFVII one.

I think I'll be able to write something for it, but the prompt is...kind of generic, so I feel like I don't have a lot to go on, and the requester doesn't have a Dear Author letter or anything. :\
