So, I just found the perfect umbrella to use for the winglets of my steampunk!Edea costume. If I get the right joint controls I might even be able to make them fold up. Research to follow. At least I've sufficiently taken the umbrella apart enough to work with it.

I love it when my projects happen by chance. I wasn't even looking for it and there it was! Hooray for tacky umbrellas sold in the mini-mart!

Oooh, fun. That's like the other day I went to the fabric store looking for some notions to use for my SOLDIER harness for my Zack cosplay, and almost immediately found the perfect snaps, and jean rivets. Boy am I excited to start on that.

I can't wait to see pictures of this cosplay. I'm super-curious.
