Hrmph.

So it appears I'm sick.

Keeping it from being tragic by use of Tylenol Cold, soup, tea, and sleeping a lot. The sleeping probably helped the most. However, today is the day I need to make sure my program works for my Corvette Simulation in Vehicle Dynamics, so I can't sleep ALL day. Thankfully, unlike when I got sick last semester, there are no exams around now and I should be good to go to class tomorrow. I'm glad the major bits of ick seemed to hit today, on my no class day.

Note to self: when you wake up with a sore throat, don't proceed to spend six hours in a cold lab that day, no matter HOW much programming you need to do.

And thankfully I know a place that has good eggdrop soup that delivers, which I may hit up again. And lo mein with extra garlic, which I have. And orange juice, so I don't have to go to the health food crap store in the Union and have that icky vitamin water again.

Hell, I may make my own soup, I have some chicken stock left.

Ugh, I hate being an adult sometimes. I wish someone else would take care of me when I'm sick. XD I'm such a weenie.

1. Science
Science is awesome! Science is a pain! Science is where I've chosen to make my profession. Maybe not straight meticulous science of doom, but I'm that kind of nerd. Since I want to do a lot of things with my life, being a science teacher of somesort for a while also falls into plans. XD

2. Writing
Something I probably do too much of, considering that none of it helps me to gain a living (nor will, I've no desire to do it full time). But it's a very fun hobby and keeps me sane. So there's something to be gained there.

3. Cosplay
Probably the most fantastic hobby evar and how I met safety_caesars.

4. Identity
Something I babble a lot about and find important. Who you are and what you identify as in everything in your life matters. I happen to think it's something constantly in flux (at least for me) and something people should keep tabs on. XD

5. Steampunk
In another time and another gender, I would totally be a crazy inventor. Steampunk sort of appeals to that wizit-loving, elaborate crazy side of me and gets me in a dress without too many complaints. XD
